Not sure if I am ready for the cold that is coming.  We did have some trees cut in February so we do have lots of fire wood.  They are predicting that the fall colors are going to be really vibrant this year.  Make sure to check out all the Smokey Mountain Parkways.

The tan and black are litter mates that we had for about  5-6 years.  Both died way too soon.  The other one is a rescue from TN.  Had her about two months and then she was adopted by a great couple.  She was by far the smartest dog I ever had the pleasure of knowing.

That’s a big bull.  Never a bathroom on the corner in the mountains.  Found a good pull off going up a mountain.  Looked over my car and He was looking at me.  Just some cows looking as I drive by.  So much wild life to see.

Headed home after a day of driving around working, I am met with these turkeys stopping me in the road.  I had enough time to get my phone and take these pictures.  The first picture is one of the turkeys charging me as took the pictures.  Never a dull moment in the mountains.

What can be said?  It never gets old to see a sunrise or sunset.  Reminds me of a song by Clay Cross “My place is with You”.  Never pass up the opportunity to watch a sunrise or sunset.  Have a happy hump day!

Had a family of 11 rent a place in Sevierville TN to check out Dolly Wood.  It is for sure a place to visit.  You will need at least three days.  Two for all the wonderful shows and a day for riding rides and shopping.  Bigger than I thought it was but,  everything is well[...]
